Bluebayou Bacalar, Bacalar

The availability of free kayaks and paddleboards made my stay at Bluebayou fantastic! I loved paddling around the calm lagoon, especially in the early morning. The stunning sunrise views while kayaking were lovely. I even saw fish and birds up close, which enhanced the experience immensely.

I stayed in a beautifully designed bungalow which felt cozy and private. The solidly built structures blend perfectly into the surroundings, offering an authentic tropical feel. The air conditioning worked well, making it a comfortable retreat after a day of exploring the area.

The bathrooms were clean and had essential amenities. While simple, they met all my needs, and I appreciated the effective hot water supply. After long swim sessions in the lagoon, it was refreshing to return and freshen up comfortably.

The hotel features an amazing lakeside area with hammocks where I spent hours just soaking in the serene views and enjoying the soothing sounds of nature. It's a perfect spot for relaxation, whether you want to read a book or simply enjoy a peaceful nap.
